Oh my goodness me, I've just unearthed this link from my bookmarks and just had to share it because this lady just makes me weep tiny happy illustration tears of joy! Her name is Suana Verelst, I came across her flickr profile whilst researching a recent project.

Papa's birthday!

It was my darling dad's special day recently. He really likes my fishy sketches so I rustled him up a quickie as a birthday treat. Unfortunately the stretched paper I used made working with the paints a little more difficult that the loose canvas sheets I usually use for these images but it turned out ok in the end.

New Portfolio!

Outside cover, Inside cover, Inside cover: Part deux

I've been a bit slow getting off the ground with this but I have finally received my new portfolio. It came complete with a nice sturdy slander case and is lined with beautiful soft pink fabric. I was so pleased with it that it received at least ten minutes of petting and cooing before I was able to put it down....

I got it done at Thackray & Spink Bookbinders in Headingley. Highly recommended!
