My First Editorial Work!

Hi,

I'm very excited, tomorrow is the day that my first editorial illustration is in a magazine.

It's a spot illustration for Management Today.

The artwork will be on my website very shortly, along with a couple of other pieces I have been working on!

Fantasy Drawing Classes at Swarthmore College!!

My good friend and very talented artist and tutor Steve Beaumont is going to be running drawing classes this September at Swarthmore College in Leeds. If you can you should really check these out!

Vegetables!!!!

Hot hot!

I know this isn't related to illustration or design, but I get very very happy about little things and this summer is my first ever vegetable crop of any type. I have a little plastic green house on my driveway and I've grown some chillies and tomatoes.

Just take few seconds to bask in the glory of the creation of these tiny fruits!!! (please)

Limited edition prints!

Fingers crossed, I am going to have some limited edition prints available to buy in the Bowery Gallery in Headingley, Leeds, later on this year. I'm still working on the range of images that will be for sale but hopefully it will all go ahead!

Oh my goodness me, I've just unearthed this link from my bookmarks and just had to share it because this lady just makes me weep tiny happy illustration tears of joy! Her name is Suana Verelst, I came across her flickr profile whilst researching a recent project.

Papa's birthday!

It was my darling dad's special day recently. He really likes my fishy sketches so I rustled him up a quickie as a birthday treat. Unfortunately the stretched paper I used made working with the paints a little more difficult that the loose canvas sheets I usually use for these images but it turned out ok in the end.
